NOKIA UNVEILS TWO NEW NSERIES SMARTPHONES-N79 AND N85

Nokia has just unveiled two new smart phones,N79 and N85.The world's leading manufacturer has unveiled yet another set of smart phones for release.

N85 also has upgrades the camera from two megapixels to five megapixels as compared to N81. Beside that, it also adding GPS both for mapping and geotagging shots. It also switches to 2.6-inch AMOLED screen that could supply richer color and with a single battery charge able to support up to 28 hours music playback. Nokia 85 also emphasis in music where the owners has option of upgrade to 16GB or beyond in future. The standard device of N85 is bundles with 8GB microSDHC.


The N79 device in turn will replace N78. N79 also upgrades the camera from 3.2 to five megapixels and also using a dual-LED based flash. N79 able to last for 24 hours of music playback with the single charge and 4GB microSD card give it more storage than the earlier handset. Same as N85, it also consist of a full 3G, GPS and WI-FI feature set.


Currently, both N79 and N85 has been available in US as unlocked devices and expected in UK by next month.

.ODT EXTENSION FILES

There are loads of files in the computer operating system.People get a hard time trying to make out what are the files usedvfor and the need of the file in the system.We might have undergone the process of transferring the data from one system to the other.There are certain files that would not open in the new system.There are certain files by the name of .odt and .ods extensions.These files dont open on their own,the open office program is needed for opening these files.TO download the open office program for free,You can go to the site address 'http://download.openoffice.org'.If the new OS has Office2000 or Office2003 or if it is Windows XP then you would not have any problem in opening the files with program.But still there has to be a plugin added to the program to make the file open.For the plug-in download you would have to go to the site 'www.sun.com/software/star/odt_plugin/index.jsp'.But this program would not work with the Office 2007.

ABHINAV CLINCHES FIRST INDIVIDUAL GOLD IN OLYMPICS

Abhinav Bindra,a Khel Ratna awardee,a 23-year-old from Delhi clinches the first gold medal in the olympics.This is the first individual gold haul by an Indian in the olympics.He got the gold in the 10m air rifle competition.This is an impressive feat by an Indian after the other hopes of the country went down as none could make it to the finals.
Bindra, , finished the qualifying event joint fourth with Romania's George Alin Moldoveanu after the duo shot a score of 596/600. The bespectacled shooter managed a series of 100, 99,100, 98, 100 and 99.
"He needed a 10.4 with his last shot to ensure the gold and he shot a 10.7. It was simply wonderful. To win the Olympic quota place with a World championship gold is fantastic. He has worked hard for it, and fought brilliantly today,'' said National coach Prof. Sunny Thomas.
The gold medals for the country were acquired in hockey so this gold is a special one for Bindra,as it might raise the hopes of other athletes in the olympic games.
