Today after midnight Andaman and Nicobar islands experienced an Earthquake that was measured around 7.6 on reichter scale.The reports regarding the casualties has not been announced and the damage that has been caused by the quake is not yet estimated.
The quake was felt on shores of the penninsula.Slight tremors was felt in the buildings even in Chennai some thousand miles away from the islands and in Bhuvaneshwar.
ICE AGE TO HIT SCREENS BY JULY
The third part in the Ice Age sequel 'Ice Age 3- The Dawn of the Dinosaurs' to be released by the first of July this year.The movie has all three of the main characters Sid The Sloth,Manny the Mammoth and Diego The Saber tooth.
The Movie depicts Manny becoming a father and the trio meeting up with some prehistoric friends.Sid too becomes a parent adopting three T-Rex young ones which he finds in an underground world where dinosaurs exist(maybe a few).The movie is all fun packed as Scrat finds a competitor for the beloved acorn of his and the trio as usual with other friends they picked up along the sequel.

THE NEW G1 iPHONE
Looks like there is a new competitor for Apple's iPhone.The new mobile released by T-mobile is called the Google phone or the G1.The T-Mobile G1 also features a touch-screen, slick software, and a software store that make it appear a strong competitor to other smart phones. It arrives at a competitive price of $180 with a two-year contract from T-Mobile.
G1 owners will be able to browse Amazon's 6 million tracks across the T-Mobile network. The iTunes store is off line for iPhone users not on a Wi-Fi network. G1 users must be on a Wi-Fi network to download the music itself.The G1 has other unique capabilities, such as spinning the phone to spin around street-level photos available on Google Maps. And its tight integration with other Google applications looks promising. All of those are applications that could appear soon on other phones, including through the software store that Apple offers for the iPhone.
But what the iPhone lacks in performance is easily covered by its looks.The G1 on the other hand would certainly lose the crown to the iPhone in a beauty pageant.The Apple is not certainly going down as it has built a network of users all around the world how prefer the iPhone for its looks over the G1.If the G1 could come out with a sizzling new design it can overtake its opponents.
